Care Team Bios
Sage Jobsis
Sage Jobsis grew up in Rosendale, New York. When she was 30, she was diagnosed with MS, which over time took away her ability to walk and see. As a disability rights advocate, she co-founded ThriveHV, an organization working to make Hudson Valley, NY towns more accessible and inclusive. She is also on the Hand in Hand National Steering Committee and has been a key leader in the New York Caring Majority campaign advocating for fair pay for home care workers. Sage is thankful for her relationship with partner Mark who supports her care needs and has made their home accessible through his construction skills.
Alyanna Morton
Alyanna Morton attends Elmira college where she double majors in Human Services and Criminal Justice. In addition to her studies, Alyanna has been cheering for 15 years and is on the Elmira College cheer team. While she is new to the field of home care, she comes from a family full of healthcare workers and believes they are essential part of society and deserve more recognition. She is excited to advocate for home care and other health care workers so that their voices may be heard.
